Smart pitching

When setting up your tent, it’s important to always press the poles downward slightly so they meet the clips, rather than pulling the fabric up to reach them. If you pull too much on the tent fabric, you create unnecessary stress on the canopy, especially around the seams. This tension can enlarge the tiny needle holes left by the stitching process, potentially reducing the tent’s long-term durability and water resistance.

By pressing the poles down towards the clips, you let the frame do the work it’s designed for, and you avoid stretching the fabric too much. It’s a small detail in the pitching process, but it makes a big difference for keeping your tent strong and reliable over time.
