If you want a secure grip for the stakes in snow and sand, you need stakes that ensures the possibility of a grip under just such conditions. Ordinary stakes simply do not deliver when the ground consists of sand or snow. You need stakes with considerable length and width in such a way that they provide an approriate grip in the loose soil.
These stakes have a 50 cm cord attached where the stakes are dug horisontal into the snow/ sand. They will then provide an optimal grip to secure your tent firmly to the surface.
